1972, Kamari Beach Hotel.

George Karamolegos, together with his wife, Eirini Koch, open the Kamari Beach Hotel. Santorini does not yet have an airport or a properly structured port.

“The strangest island in the world”.

Investing on tourism in Santorini was back then a bold venture.
Κamari Beach Hotel is designed by architect Vakis Manekas with the classic 70s architectural style broadly used in resorts. It is the first hotel with a swimming pool in Santorini.

1995, Rosebay Hotel.

On the same location in Kamari, works are commencing for building the second hotel of G&E Karamolegos S.A., Rosebay.
Rosebay’s design is curated by architect Maria Meneidi and boasts large interiors and private, enclosed spaces. It is the first, 4-star certified hotel in Santorini.

1997, Xenones Filotera.

Built on the western part of the island, Xenones Filotera, designed by architect Manolis Anastasakis, boasts 18 deluxe suites in Imerovigli with a magical view to the volcano and the sunset.

2005, The Majestic Hotel.

One of the largest hotel projects in Santorini, The Majestic Hotel is the first, five-star certified hotel on the island. It is designed across a 10,000-acre area by architects Zisis Kotionis and Manolis Anastasakis. It is positioned on the western part of the island, very close to the capital of Santorini, Fira.
